“Yes grandma,” Bren said blushing slightly. It had been a long time since someone treated him in such a manner. In fact he couldn’t even remember one time. His mother always simply commanded and seldom gave him a reason for her orders. The same could have been said of all the adults that had been around him when he was growing up.
As they left Bren did just as Lisa had suggested and moved to the back of the group, well out of sight of Faye.
