Tue following paper was drawn up by General Graham, who was familiär with the country around the Mountain, kncw some of tlie officcrs engaged in ihc battle, and previous to wriling ihis de- scription visited the battle-ground with a son of one of the officcrs.
From his known habits of Observation and correctness, and his fa- miUarity with military detail, thcre is no doubt that this is tlie most graphic account that has ever bccn givcn of that celebrated and important action. He drcw a beautiful plot of the battle-ground, and the position of the forccs at differcnt timcs during tlie day of the action.
