“Gotta run,” she said as the bell rang. She lifted the mistletoe again and kissed me one more time. Then she pressed it into my hand and headed off down the hall as I stood there watching her, realizing how much I enjoyed just watching the girl walk. As I was turning to put the mistletoe into my locker, I saw something out of the corner of my eye — another girl walking towards me as the crowd of students in the hall was thinning.
