Even so, Lolly was the first to spy the letter on Chloe’s bed that night.
“What is it?” asked Pop as Chloe opened the envelope.

She scanned it quickly and then read it out loud: “‘On behalf of the staff, I would like to wish you good luck for the Rising Stars Concert tomorrow. “I didn’t know the principal’s name was Janet,” said Pop with a giggle.
“What a nice letter,” said Lolly.
“She wants to encourage you so you don’t let the school down,”
