To him we are indebted for much of the genealogical data of the famil^- which he gave in i8i8 in an interview had with him by Asa Matlack. His affiliations in early life and at the time of his mar- riaf^e v ere with the Church of England as were those of his family — the Rudderows being identified with that denomination.
