In February, 189. 1, he was promoted to the position of Assistant to the General Freight Agent, and August i, 1892, was appointed General Freight Agent of the Boston & Maine Railroad, which position he now occupies. He resides at ^^'est Somerville. Duddy, Robert, son of William and Catherine (Alger) Duddy, was born at the "North End" in Boston, February 17, 1843.
