But even more so, is the large blue wings inked on one shoulder, the tips peeking out beneath the short sleeve of his shirt. His head turns in my direction, and he smiles as he stands and we do that . . . one-armed, man-hug thing. “Drake,” he greets, “haven’t seen you in a couple of months, dude.”
I shrug and signal to the bartender for a beer. “Busy. Things have been pretty chill with the Ohtar and my dad asked me to pick up guard duty on a couple of my mom’s leath leanbh, while she’s too pregnant to work.”
