Many people have asked me during my present journey, "How does South Africa compare with Canada in respect of opportunities, of the chances which it offers to settle- ment and immigration?" This is, of course, a question which it is impossible to answer, but there are several aspects of it, on which it is easy to throw a certain amount of light.
