Chaerea, who, as he enters, exclaims joyfully at his good fortune, " O populares, ecquis me hodie vivit fortunatior ? " is the object of interest. The three other figures Parmeno, Thraso and Gnatho, are evidently curious to know the cause of such extreme joy.
