What reading level is Swing book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

Shane's deep, blue eyes, ful of concern, gazed into hers. "Are you sure? I don't want to ruin what we have." A mix of deep emotions washed through her. She stroked his cheek, delighting in the feel of his slightly whisker-roughened skin. "You won't." She stroked his sandy, blond hair, then kissed him, hungry for his lips. He cupped her face with both hands. "Promise I won't lose you as a friend." Shane had had family problems growing up. Both his parents had divorced several times, and she knew ...her friendship gave him a sense of stability. She nodded. "I promise. I'll always be your friend." And so much more, she hoped. Their lips met again and this time, with a blazing passion. Melissa felt the sparks sizzle through her, setting her body on fire. Her nipples became impossibly hard, thrusting into his chest, demanding attention. She tugged the tie holding her dress fastened, releasing the bow. She drew back and pul ed the dress open, then dropped the garment from her shoulders. As it pooled at her feet, his face filled with awe.
