She kicked off her shoes, crawled onto the bed and put her arms around him from behind. She didn't know if he was asleep or not, but it didn't matter. She pressed close, actually loving the feel of his heartbeat through his shirt. She drifted off to sleep feeling happier than she had in a long, long time. * * * When she woke it wasn't a back, but a large chest she was snuggled into.
