To the Board of Domestic Missi...ons of the Reformed Church in A merica : Dear Brethren — Bearing in mind your request for brevity, I take pleasure in presenting to you the following condensation of Sabbath school reports from our Western Synod for 1875, and comparison with the statistics of my first report in 1872 : 1872. 1875. Gain.
Churches with Sunday schools. 47 61 14 Officers and Teachers 821 993 1 72 Scholars enrolled 5,651 8,288 2,637 Total enrollment 6,472 9,821 2,809 Average attendance 4,619 6,974 2,355 U REPORT ON This shows a gain of 29.8 per cent, in Churches with Sabbath schools; of 20.9 per cent, in officers and teachers; of 46.9 in scholars enrolled; of 43.3 per cent, in total enrollment; and of 50.9 per cent, in average attendance ; thus exhibiting an average advance of 38.3 per cent, along the whole line.
