The title, Additions to Daniel, is ordinarily used to designate only the three most impor- tant enlaro^ements of this sort.* They are : The Prayer of Azarias and Song of the Three Children, Susanna, and Bel and the Dragon. The position of these several Additions with respect to the principal work is by no means uniform.
