The inframedian latus is longer and narrower than \\\ S. parti yricanmn. The rostrum is narrower. The umhones of the carinal latera project less and are situated higher. The valves are sculptured with concentric grooves at subequal intervals. The two larger examples are evidentU' adult. (Fig. 8 d^ e,) In ...the figure the hairs of the cuticle are omitted.
