The largest fragment is 0'64 millimetre long, and it measures 0-06 millimetre in diameter at the bottom. It was found at Kozarnia. The distance of the ' brow antler ' from... the second tyne is 0-67 milhmetre, and the distance from this to the third, which runs backwards, is 0-31. The horn of a much younger animal is drawn in Plate XI. Fig. 2, while that drawn in Plate XH. Fig. 2 belonged to an animal still younger. In both these cases the lower end is perfectly flat and even, and several other specimens are in the same condition, so that all these have been natu- rally shed by the animals. In some instances the lower end of the horn is still connected with a piece of the skull, which shows that the animal died a violent death.
