Cook for ten minutes, strain and serve. Custard Sauce: Beat up two eggs in a basin, and add by degrees a pint of boiling milk. Sweeten with an ounce of castor sugar and stir or whisk over the fire until the mixture begins to thicken and is of a creamlike appearance. Flavor with a few drops of vanilla or lemon essence, then serve hot.
