The logan is' seated in the channel of the Teign, being poised on an other j^stone, deeply engrafted in a mass of granite rocks, and unequally sided, at some parts 6, at others 7, and at the western end 10 feet in height, from east to west about 18 feet in length, and, what is remarkable, of the same size as the quoit of 174 NOTES TO DAUTMOOR.
