Line 4, casts ^ determines in his mind. Richardson ...s. V. Derives this sense of it from wi-estling ; but it is simpler to con- sider it as either a soothsaying or gaming sense, taken from the casting of lots or dice, or from the ' casting' of nativities. Bead is = bed, i. E. Sleep.
