Before they could reach us, an authoritative male voice blasted out a single command, to my immense relief. “Down!” And just like that the mighty beasts dropped mid-leap as a tall, slender, sandy-haired young man came jogging around the same corner they’d appeared from. “You must forgive them,” he said with a laugh, “but they’re quite incorrigible around visitors.
