FORM AND CO...MMENCEMENT OF ACTION. Commence- ment of action. Statement of claim. 1. Every action except as otherwise provided shall be com- menced by writ of summons in form "A" in the schedule' hereto, with such variations as circumstances require, which writ shall be issued by the clerk upon receiving from the plaintiff the documents specified in Rule 2, and the proper fees. 3. At the time of the issue of the writ, the plaintiff or his solicitor shall deliver to the clerk two copies of the plaintiff's statement of claim, and one of such copies shall be attached to such writ and filed with it by the clerk in his ofiice, and a copy of such statement of claim shall be attached to each copy of such writ served.
