Christian Literature Inasmuch as there is a specially clamant need in these days of China's awakening for original contributions to Christian literature and for translations imparting the best thought of the West, the Church is called upon to set apart workers, both Chinese and foreign, for this field of endeavour. Those who are called to such work should be set free from other responsible missionary duties.

It is necessary at the present time to put Christian medical education in the forefront of medical mission work in China, in order: — (1) To ensure the continuity and permanence of the work.
