This is noteworthy as being the first letter of the kind written by the Associated Brokers As a further mark of esteem, Mr. Musgrove's son Edgar, then only nineteen years of age, was elected to take the place of his father at the meetings of the Association. The partnership between the brothers was dissolved in 1840.
