And the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do present that John Jones Phillip Jones and William Jones all of this Manor dealers in Coffee being then and still Inhabitants and Resiants of and in the said Manor on the first day of October Instant and from thence hitherto have been and still are possessed of a certain Coffee Roasting Shop situate in or near Market Street in this Manor and within the Jurisdiction of this Court and of certain Furnaces and Stoves used in Roasting Coffee there... and being so possessed thereof the said John Phillip and William on the said first day of October last and on divers other days and times since did burn and roast or cause to be burnt and roasted large quantities of Coffee in the said Furnaces and Stoves and did thereby wrongfully and injuriously make and cause and procure to be made large quantities of noxious smoke steam and effluvia which on the several days aforesaid issued from the said Furnaces and Stoves into and upon divers streets and 1 Crossed through, and "W m Burton" written after in pencil.
