Of Religion, ART. L The Catholick, Apoftollck, Roman Religion, in all its evangelical purity, ftiall be the only national religion in Corfica.
ART. II, The Houfe of Parliament is authorifed to determine on the number of Parifhes, to fettle the falaries of the Priells, and to take meafures for enfuring the difcharge of epifcopal fundlions, in concert with the Holy See.
ART. III. All other modes of worihip are tolerated.

Of the Crown and its SucceJi

CHAPTER XII.
Of the Acceptance of the Crown^ and of the Conjiitution of Corfica, ART. I. The prefent Ad fhall be prefented to His Majefty, the King of Great Bri^ tain, through His Excellency Sir Gilbert Elliot, His Commiflary Plenipotentiary, and fpecially authorifed for this purpofe.
ART. II. In the Ad of Acceptance, His Majefty, and His Plenipotentiary in His name, Ihall fwear to maintain the Liberty of the Corfican Nation, according to the Conftitution and the Laws ; and the fame oath fhall be adminiftered to His Suc- cefTors, upon every fucceflion to tlis throne.
