16 THE DEVIL AT THE FAIR Twas something attached to a male figure nude, Which twould take a big fig leaf to cover, And I blushed at the sight of an object so rude, As I turned a sly glance to my lover. "Such forms, " he remarked, "are a shocking disgrace, " When we "Court of the Universe" entered, Then he stopped nearly paralyzed, white in the face, As his eyes on nude angels were centered.
