What reading level is The Expositor book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:
Still more clear is the use of the aorist where St. Paul refers to the action of God in raising up Christ — e.g., "We are witnesses of God that He raised up {r^yetpe) Christ" (ver. 15). This can only refer to one distinct Divine action.
4. Here we are introduced to another fact that points in the same direction. St. Paul always describes the resur* rection of Jesus Christ as a work of God's wrought upon Him, not as a self-originated action of His own ; e.g., " We are witnesses of God that He ra...ised up Christ" (1 Cor.
