I wanted supper for 40, and accordingly made a special application, which was indignantly refused. A few days after this performance we were invited to the Deanery to give an entertainment to the late Duke of Albany; our scenery was carried in triumph to the Deanery : the Vice- Chancellor, was among the audience.
