No separate return is given of the postal orders, but in the United Kingdom 121, 513, 000 were issued for the year in question. Now it is evident, cal- culating the revenue derivable from the postal volume of traffic shown for Ireland in the Postmaster-General's report that it would represent a sum vastly in excess of the actual amount shown in the Treasury returns as collected in Ireland on behalf of postal services viz.
