Very pretty she was, too, in her rustic dress and ribbons. Lifting his wand with great solemnity, Gorbodoc touched the trunk of theelm. There was a blinding flash of rosy fire; the great tree appeared toshrink and dissolve, and presently the Prince stood before them.
