It was raised by Mr. Daniel Bloodgood, of Flushing, Long Island, U. S. A. , and I received it first from Mr. Warren, of Boston, in 1847.
AMERICAN DOCTOR (The Doctor). Fruit, medium-sized, obtuse heart-shaped, marked on one side with a shallow suture. Skin, clear yellow, washed with red.
