14 The Genesis of a ruary 21, 1636(7), * that it was decided that "the plantation nowe called Newtowne shalbe called & named by the name of Harteforde Towne, likewise the plantation now called Watertowne shalbe called & named Wythersfeild, " and "the plantation called Dorchester shalbe called Windsor. " On the same day the boundaries between the three towns were "agreed" upon, and thus the germ of the future State was the agreement and union of the three towns.
