A lotion freq\jelitly applied, and sold under the name of vi...rgin's milk (jungfrau milch), consists of a pain of corrosive sublimate, two drachms of tincture of benzoin, and six ounces of distilled water, or emulsion of bitter almonds. With this lotion the aflecfed parts are to be moist- ened twice or thrice duily, by means of a sponge, the parts not being subsequently dried j aud in eight days the skin generally becomea 116 PRACTICAL ;KEDIcnil;, ETC.
