From this first union district, the germ sometimes called the " Centre District,^' sometimes the " Village school on the Green/' have sprung ^vat Runaway ^^ond district * otherwise known as the Weeks district, in the school house of which for many years the town meetings were held ; and then in their order came the now defunct Charleston district,^ Beech hill district, Pine hill district, the Smnmit, Height o' land, East-x)arte, The Forks, sometimes called dough district in '' Patchbreuckland," Streamy valley or Sawtelle district, and IfoosehillocJc district on the south-western mountain spur.
