I wonder if ever a woman planned her ideal house without a vision of wide-flung casement windows, ivy framed, with broad inside sills holding orderly pots of red gera- niums, and a bird cage somewhere in the background"? Of course there are no win- dow shades gnd no wire screens in sight.
Flies and mosquitoes do not frequent ideal houses.
Men plan differently. They always think of the sensible side of things — of adequate •light and air and all that.
