315 For the purposes of putting lip-reading instruction within the reach of al...l who have been discharged from the Army and Navy on account of deafness or ear-disease, the secretary receives lists of such men from the invaliding authorities, and sorts them out according to the areas in which they are domiciled. He then forwards these lists to the representatives of the Ministry in their respective areas, so that the men may be called up before the official aurists and lip-reading specialists for examination as to their eligibility for training in lip-reading, for treatment of their ears, or both.
