Indeed some have since turned earnest believers who were once strong opposers of Christianity, while tfce rest of the people no longer entertain sentiments of deadly hatred towards it. They willingly admit that the introduc- tion of that religion into our country is highly beneficial, and it is scarcely too much to say that the whole nation is ready to welcome Christianity.
