The court is not bound... or controlled in the exercise of its discretion by any agreement between the parties to a divorce suit for the care or custody of the children, or by any agree- ment that the party not having custody may have access to the child.^ The right of access to the child will generally be decreed, unless there are extreme grounds for a refusal.^" § 327. Modification of award.
The court has power to modify, for cause shown, at any subsequent time, any decree concerning the care and custody of children, and where it once had jurisdiction of the parties and children, it may make a modification of its decree, even if the children are out of its jurisdiction.^^ § 328.
