) Sect. 4 of the Labourers' Cottages, and Allotments (Ireland) Act 1882 is as follows : — " Where an order shall be made under this Act, or has been made, or is made under section nineteen of the principal Act (viz. , the Land Law (Ireland) Act, 1881 — see note (6) ) for providing accommodation for the labourers emploj'ed on any such holding, and such order has not been complied with within six months from the date of such order, or six months from the passing of this Act, whichever shall last ...happen, the person failing to comply with such order shall be liable thenceforth to a penalt}' of one pound for ev^ry week during which such order is not complied with, and such penalty shall be recoverable in a summary manner before two or more Justices in Petty Sessions in manner provided by the Pettj' Sessions (Ireland) Act, I Sol, upon the complaint of any labourer employed on the holding, and in M'hose favour such order has been, or shall have been made, and the Justices shall award such penalty to the guardians of the poor of the union within which the holding is situate, to bo applied in aid of the poor-rate of such union.
