Woollen underwear therefore guards against a chill after excessive perspiration. When very hot from cycling, rowing, tennis, etc., a ' sweater ' — that is, a knitted wool jersey — is an excellent thing to put on to guard against a chill and to absorb the perspiration. 220. If the clothing is already burning freely, the child should be completely wrapped in a blanket or rug, by which the flames may be stifled.
