OF THE DUTIES OB' TEACHERS.
In addition to what is specified in the 8th section of the Law, it shall be the Teacher's duty — 1. To use his best exertions to give effect to the Parish School Law, and the Regulations and recommeudations of the Provincial Board of Education, i THE PARISH SCHOOLS OF N. B. 17 and of the Chief Superintendent, as also of the Inspectors, Trustees, and School Committees.
2. To be punctual in his attendencc during the appointed school hours', and faithful in the preparat...ion for, and in the execution of the duties of his office, as well as circumspect in his language and conduct.
8. To keep or see that the School House and premises arc, (subject to the superior controul of the School Committee,) kept in proper order, as regards cleanliness, neatness, and ventilation ; and especially that the School House is ready for the reception of the pupils, at least thirty minutes before the time prescribed for commencing the exercises, in order to afford shelter in inclement weather, to those who may arrive before the appointed time.
