Whilst the father and son were walking up and down on deck an hour or two before the final farewell, an incident occurred which at the time afforded them much amusement. Augustus, who had left his father for a few minutes to see about the bestowal of his luggage, on returning to him, exclaimed with the greatest glee, " Fancy my good fortune !
