Later. Alas ! alas ! the vertigo has returned on me with some force, so my hopes are dashed once more. Still, I must hope on. I cast anchor in my old trust — that is, the good- ness of God. I believe He loves me, and I am sure I love Him.
Have had a good night's sleep — excellent for me, but during the night and early in the morning I had several bad swim- ing bouts, making me feel really discouraged, if not hope- less.
