Sir John fent the Prince the fpeeches and verfes made on that occafion, hoping, that thefe would have better fortune than thofe fent by him from Florence ; and trufting in the care and diligence of the bearer, who was himfelf a worthy and learned gentleman, and nephew of the very worthy and very learned AmbafTa- dor, Sir Henry Wotton.
