The Feminizing of Christianity.
The statement that the men in Christian countries take less interest in religion than the women requires neither argument nor proof. Not only have the sta- tistics of church attendance been published, but also any one can easily verify the statement for himself in any congregation. The women in attendance always outnumber the men, often by several hundred per cent. Yet even that does not measure the real dis- proportion of interest, for many of the men are present merely to please women or children in whom they are interested, or from considerations of "good policy".
