“That’s exactly what we’re going to straighten out, Dixmeister. I want all current sitreps and plan outlines fed to my monitor for approval and action, and I want them this afternoon. No, in one hour … no, come to think of it, let’s do it now.”
He stammered, “But—but—” I knew the problem; there were at least fifty separate stores of data to be tapped and digested, and preparing a decent synoptic was half a day’s work.
