Thefe trads, difdaimed bjr Mr.-Hilh he confi- ders as the produdions, in the whole, or in part, of that Gentle- man's pen, although profeflfedJy publiflied, on bis behalf, as the vo- luntary effufions of unfolicited, and even naknown friendfiiip. — We fay this in reference only to the ** Reply,** which we have feen* In the prefatory advertifement above mentioned, we obfenre at mte, wherein the Author civilly acknowledges our impartiality in fpeakiog of the preceding publications relative to this controverfy ; but he adds an intimation,, that fome ** manoeuvres'' had been ufed».
