The vegetable manures are good, though not fo ftrong as animal ones. They can be had in great er plenty in moft places ; and ought to be laid on in larger quantities. Rcfufc hay, both frefh and fait, rotted in yards, and trampled on by cattle, and mixed with their excrements. Tfiatch, that grows by the fides of fait creeks, or the parts of it which cattle will not eat, mould be thrown into the farm yard, to putrefy.
