Sporidia mostly biseriate, navicular-fusoid, mostly acute, both ends usually slightly cu...rved in opposite directions, yellowish-hyaline, 12-16 X 3-3| fx, uniseptate, scarcely or only slightly constricted.
On dead stems of Brunella vulgaris, Newfield, N. J.
Found mostly near the base of the stem. Higher up are perithe- cia filled with stylospores scarcely distinguishable from the ascospores.
