The habit of retrospection begins to grow upon him, and he dwells more and more upon the things which have been. Traveling down the western slope of the hill with the sun all red in the western sky, he dreams fond dreams of childhood and of the glowing years long gone. He thinks of the happy years of boyhood, and what it meant then to be alive.
