Josie patted her friend on the arm and moved toward the window. “It’s just as well. I need to do some investigating, and I couldn’t do it in jail.” Through the hotel window, she saw Callahan, his arms trussed up like a Christmas goose, walking up the street ahead of Will Spencer.
